Vera, equestrian guide
Horse riding and nature are passions that she has nurtured since childhood and that led her to start a horse riding school with her husband Francesco, who is also an equestrian guide. Her mission is to help those who visit them rediscover a love for something that has been lost: the horse as a travelling companion, to enjoy nature in its purest and simplest form.

An Apulian aperitif with typical local products such as cured meats, cheeses, friselline, omelettes, vegetables from the garden and anything else available on the day, as well as water and wine

This experience is of an easy level, suitable for a first horse ride
ATTENTION! It is necessary to wear long trousers and closed shoes to join the horse trek; if these requirements are not met, the experience may not take place and will not be reimbursed
Horse riding is suitable for people aged 14 and over (children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult)
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate in the riding experience

Vera and Francesco will welcome you to their equestrian centre, an enchanting place immersed in the green Salento countryside, ideal for an experience that will remain in your heart.
At first, Vera and Francesco will take you on a tour of the horse ranch where you will be able to see all the love and dedication they have put into creating a small but lovely home for their animals. You will meet their sweet and intelligent horses here and they will explain you how they take care of them.
Getting to the heart of the horse riding experience, Vera and Francesco will show you how to saddle up and teach you the basics of horseback riding so you can enjoy a carefree ride. The friendly atmosphere will be perfect for learning while relaxing.
The horse ride will take you into the Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, a breathtaking landscape of tree-lined paths and sunny clearings along a beautiful wild coastline. The route will also be rich in history and tradition, passing between two ancient and evocative masserias.
After about an hour of horseback riding and a distance of 4-5 km, you will return to the ranch where you will enjoy a rich Apulian aperitif based on local products, some of which come from the ranch’s vegetable garden. Here, you will have time to chat with Vera and Francesco and ask them all the questions you would like to know more about them.
