Passionate about modern patisserie since law school, she finally decided to make it her full-time job. After working for about ten years in renowned patisseries and event venues, she started her own independent patisserie workshop. She believes that designing and making pastries is a great form of expression and communication. The satisfaction on her customers’ faces is proof that she has succeeded in this!

1. Pasticciotto leccese (shortcrust pastry cases with a delicious custard filling)
2. Dolcetti di mandorle (dry almond sweets, made with almonds, sugar and eggs)
3. Sweet taralli & intorchiate (sugary sweet plaits decorated with almonds)
4. Innovative olive oil-based recipes (e.g. olive oil pannacotta with crumble)
This is a pastry course for beginners, all the tools that you will need will be provided by the chef

Gabriella will welcome you to the main urban food and drink lab in Bari. It is a real academy whose trainers include the Apulian avant-garde in pastry, cafeteria, cooking, bar mixology and more. But it is not just a school, it is also a bar with a sophisticated atmosphere. A true hub of quality and innovation.
At the beginning of the pastry class, Gabriella will tell you about the fascinating path that led her to become a pastry chef. She will then tell you about the desserts that you will prepare together, starting with their history, showing you the ingredients and explaining the recipe to make them.
Next, getting to the heart of the pastry cooking class, Gabriella will guide you through the preparation of the dessert you have decided to make. They are all easy preparations that you will be able to repeat at home in different variations, thanks to Gabriella’s recipes. Don’t forget to let us know your choice from the options listed above well in advance, as well as any allergies, intolerances or other requests you may have! Recipes can be adapted for vegetarians.
The pastry class will end with the tasting of the desserts prepared together. You will then have plenty of time to chat with Gabriella to ask her any questions you may have and learn more about her story as a pastry chef.
